I recently bought an Usb microscope. This device is plug and play and registers as an USB2. The problem is in Windows 10 The device registers but after a few minutes it disconnects itself; the device remains connected physicaly to computer but Windows reacts like the device was unplugged actually plays the sound of a device being unplugged and in Device Manager the device gets disabled and shows error code And the software of the device doesn’t work properly.

While the device stills connected the software frezzes and doesn’t respond until i unpplug physicaly the device or it disconnects itself. Other video softwares can’t open the device and send messages like “Video filter cannot be created”. And yes, this device worked on Windows I tryed everything. Was this reply helpful? Both of them have been installed with Compatibility Assistant and changing the compatibility mode directly in properties and nothing happen. But i guess the problem doesn’t come from software, because in the computers where the device works it install correctly without install any software. Doing the correct install of the device Install the software first and then connect the device for first time Installs the same driver USB2.

The folder of the software includes other driver in case of im using Windows 10 Insider, but when i try to update the driver and select this one, windows does nothing, or says the driver installed is the best for the device and install nothing or when i pick it from a list and use disk windows says that there is not a driver in the folder i selected.

Unfortunately the company hasn’t any driver update or some support, because this device use the video device drivers. I guess the problem is directly the driver USB2. If your keyboard and mouse are USB, first program the power button to effect the needed restart after Rolling back or uninstalling the driver. Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account.
