Setting Up Authenticator on a New Phone As a security feature authentication apps have been designed in such a way that they are not transferrable between devices – well at least not easily see the bottom of this page for how to do it if you still have access to the old device Instead of allowing a transfer the apps need to be set up again with whatever software you were using them for. Confirm your verification option, enter the six-digit code you received via your verification option. Go back to Xero and copy the key.

Return to Authy and paste in the key.

Where do I find a QR code to scan for my auth app to log into xero. I really need a Q R code to log in. Log in to answer. Download Xero Verify and enjoy it on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. For MFA, the QR code is required upon setup – If you’ve run into a hurdle through setup and Xero is still asking for the QR code you’ll need to.
